We’re doing work experience at Southdown Studios for the week. And so far it’s been GREAT! So far we have…
DAY 1
On our first day we met Jon and sat on his selection of sofas. There we talked about all aspects of photography and the different things it involves: culture, mood, memories, experience and so on. We looked through several portfolios and then he set us a task to go outside and take photos of everything that we found intriiiigueing. After an hour of that we came back and Mr Silver set us another task to take pictures of textures and so on. After this, we returned to base and looked at more pictures, learning how to edit and so on. One of the key thingys we learnt about was Apature – I think thats how it’s spelt?
Anyway. Now It’s……..
DAY 2
Today we came into the studio feeling excited and we were set home work to bring in a selction of clothes and so on for a photoshoot that we are 2 thrids of the way through right this secondowondo. So far Ella has photographed Ellie, in 3 different outfits and throughout the shoot we used lighting and reflective skills. Then Ella and Ellie photographed Jaz, Ella hogged most of that session but Ellie is a wonderfully patient person so she got through it ok with a little help from her Choccy moose.
